Mulga Road Books is a major project of the Rotary Club of Hurstville.

Our mission is to raise money to distribute to Local, National and International community charities as decided by the Board of the Rotary Club of Hurstville.

Our Vision is to create a better world through improved

  • educational programs

  • health programs

  • motivational progams 

  • youth programs

targeted to those groups in need of assistance.

We have an extensive range of second hand books in all genres of fiction and non-fiction, including many first editions and collectables. We are cataloguing it, but it is a huge task.

The Rotary Motto is

"Service above Self"

and this project operates with volunteers dedicated to achieving these goals.

Books are donated to us by a very generous communiity. The sale of the Books is the process by which we raise funds for the benefit of others.

We also assist other community groups to achieve their goals by working with them in consultation to: 

  • provide educational support
  • raise their own funds through their own Book Fairs
  • provide "Donations in Kind" that assists their own educational and development. programs
